SMAMHC Provider Partners

SMAMHC is pleased to announce a funding opportunity utilizing 2026 grant unspent dollars totaling $217,608. These funds are intended to address critical service gaps and support innovative projects that strengthen mental health services throughout our region. This opportunity reflects our commitment to responsive, community-centered solutions that meet the needs of individuals with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI).

Purpose of the Funding

Funding is intended to support projects that:

  • Address identified gaps in regional mental health services.
  • Pilot innovative or creative approaches that improve access, coordination, or outcomes.
  • Enhance continuity of care for individuals served through SMAMHC-funded programs.
  • Build collaborative partnerships and cross-agency solutions.

Eligibility and Priority Considerations

Priority will be given to proposals that:

  • Are submitted by a certified mental health provider in good standing.
  • Demonstrate current liability insurance and meet all SMAMHC contractual coverage requirements.
  • Clearly align with identified regional needs and supporting data.
  • Present a feasible implementation plan within the 2026 funding period.
  • Include measurable outcomes and an evaluation plan.
  • Identify plans for sustainability beyond the initial funding period, when applicable.
  • Demonstrate collaboration with other providers or community partners.

Eligible applicants include all SMAMHC-contracted providers and regional partners serving individuals with SPMI.
